Reiki in Mougins, Valbonne and Sophia Antipolis — Home Sessions for International Families
The villages behind Cannes — Mougins, Valbonne, Biot, Mouans-Sartoux, Roquefort-les-Pins, Châteauneuf — are where most of my in-home sessions happen, because that's where the international families live: ten minutes from Mougins School, the International School of Nice and the CIV at Valbonne, twenty from Sophia Antipolis, forty from the airport. All of it is included in the travel area. €180 for 45 minutes at your home, in English, Russian or Ukrainian.
I'm twenty minutes away for most of these villages and same-day is often possible.
Where sessions happen in Mougins & Valbonne
Villas. Mougins village and the roads towards the golf courses, Valbonne village and the Sophia side, Biot above the glassworks, Mouans-Sartoux, Roquefort, Châteauneuf, Opio, Plascassier. A bedroom with the shutters down against the afternoon — the pines and the pool pump the only sound.
Sophia Antipolis. Early evening at home after the last call, or at my space in Cannes on the way past.
Grasse, Vence, the higher villages. On request, with a small travel addition.
Who comes, and for what
Parents holding a household in a second language while the children settle into a school where half the class is also new. Professionals at Sophia who work in English all day and are braced by 7 pm. Families in their first September here, when the household's nervous system sets its default for the year. And — this is the one I'd underline — the parent who is doing everything right and is closer to empty than they'll say.
What a session is
Forty-five minutes lying on your back, fully clothed. Hands resting lightly on or just above the body from head to feet, in a set sequence. No conversation during, nothing to believe, nothing to do. Most people drop into deep rest within ten minutes; many fall asleep. At the end I let you lie for a moment, then leave you to it. Sleep that night is usually the first thing people notice.
Mougins & Valbonne, specifically
Timing here is about the school day. Drop-off is 8:30, pickup around 4. A session at 10 or at 2 fits inside that window with time to sleep afterwards, which most parents do. Children's sessions, shorter and gentler, can follow at bedtime the same day — always alongside the paediatrician, and usually after the parent has had a few first. Questions people usually ask first
Is Reiki a substitute for medical or psychological treatment?
No. Reiki is a relaxation-focused energy practice and is offered alongside — never in place of — the care of your doctor or therapist. I don't diagnose or treat any medical condition.
What does a session actually feel like?
Most people describe warmth, a sense of heaviness or lightness in the body, or simply falling into a very deep rest. Some feel very little in the moment and notice the effect over the following day or two — both are common.
Do I need to believe in energy work for it to be worthwhile?
No. I ask clients to stay open, not convinced. Many of the people I work with are analytical by profession and approach it the same way — as an experience to test, not a belief to adopt.
Can sessions happen at my villa or on my yacht?
Yes — this is the most requested format. I bring everything needed; all you need is a quiet room or deck and about an hour.
Do you work with children?
Yes, with a gentler, shorter format designed for children who are anxious or struggling to settle — always alongside, not instead of, any medical or psychological care they're already receiving.
I'm only here for a week — can you come to my hotel?
Yes. Hotel rooms, rented villas and yachts at anchor are all fine; I bring everything. Same-day and next-day slots are often possible — write on WhatsApp and I'll tell you honestly what's free.
Is it a good idea on the day I land?
It's one of the best times. A session in the first 24–48 hours tends to settle the nervous system and bring sleep back that night — that's exactly what the Arrival Reset is for.
How do I pay, and what if plans change?
Card via a secure link, bank transfer or cash — whichever is easiest. Packages are paid before the first session. Rescheduling is free with 24 hours' notice.
